π₯Thonese village in Naung Cho Township have been captured, and the military troops are marching towards Hohko village
The military junta has begun sealing off the homes of the revolutionaries in Naung Cho after it captured the town of Naung Cho in northern Shan State.
The military junta launched an offensive in Naung Cho, which it lost during Operation 1027, in the early months of 2025, using two main lines from Pyin Oo Lwin and Taung Kham villages, and finally recaptured it in July.
After retaking Naung Cho, the military has begun to put its administrative mechanisms into effect, and is now beginning to seal off the homes of the revolutionaries in the town, and dozens of houses have now been sealed off.
βIt has been closed three days ago, they closed the homes of the revolutionary community, there must be dozens of people’s homes (upper) in the city,β
a local revolutionary source in Naung Cho told BBM. In addition, the military junta columns from Pyin Oo Lwin have also attacked and captured Ummathee and Ummakhar villages, as well as the village of Thonese.
The revolutionary source added that the army is continuing to march towards Hohko village on the Mogok road through Thonese village, and there are clashes with the revolutionary forces.
βWe have crossed Thonese from the beginning, and from there, after crossing the upper Kyu In, we will reach Hohko village. The situation in Hohko is not bad either,β
the revolutionary source told BBM. It is also reported that Hohko village is a very strategic village because it is possible to reach Mogok, Kyaukme, Moe Meik, Madaya, and Thabeik Kyin towns through this village on the Pyin Oo Lwin-Mogok road.
