The B.W.M. group and the revolutionary alliance groups fired five 107mm rockets at the Southern military junta headquarters based in Kaytumadi, Bago Region, and 4 of them exploded, 1 officerβs house and (a youth hostel) were partially burned down, and 6 members of the military junta were killed and 4 were injured, a military source told BBM.
On August 26, the Southern military junta headquarters in Kaytumadi was attacked by the B.W.M. and the Revolutionary Alliance with five 107mm rockets, killing six members of the military junta, injuring four others, and damaging buildings, according to an investigation.
βInitial information shows that one officerβs house and (a youth hostel) were partially burnt down. All six, including officers and soldiers, were killed. There were also injured people,β
a military source told BBM. On the same day, the Bayintnaung Combat Training School in Thandaunggyi was successfully attacked with nine rockets, killing four officer trainees and at least nine enlisted soldiers, an official from Brave Warriors For Myanmar (B.W.M.) told BBM.
The attack was carried out by the Mountain Knight Civilian Defense Forces (MKCDF) and the Anti-Coup People’s Liberation Force (ACPLF), KNLA Brigade 2, Battalion 5, along with the Brave Warriors For Myanmar (B.W.M).
