A 200-strong military junta column that entered Pwint Phyu Township, Magway Region, arrested not only people in their 60s and 70s from villages, but also supporters of the United Solidarity and Development Party, blindfolded them and used them as human shields, a local resident told BBM.
Over the course of three days from September 4 to 6, the following villages in Pwint Phyu Township were attacked: Kani, Made, Nyaungpin Waing, Innkone.The military junta troops that entered the villages of Madekone reportedly captured more than 20 elderly people and supporters of the Union Solidarity and Development Party(Burma) who could not avoid the war and used them as human shields, and also tied up a civilian and shot him in the ear.

a local told bbm. At least 5 people were killed and many were seriously injured in Kani village.
βSo far, 5 people have died. They are seriously injured. The young people who were able to run have escaped. The elderly were seriously injured. Some of them were hit in the thigh and died of blood loss,β
a local said.
βIt has been a long time since the military junta troops entered. Every time they enter, these guys die. The village is in pain,β
the local added.
During the fighting that took place from September 4 to 6, more than 150 members of the military junta were killed and their troops were broken and they fled, while the revolutionary alliance forces were not harmed, according to bbm’s investigation.
