Mon State Revolutionary Force MSRF spokesperson Mi Tala Nyan told BBM. She added that the military junta had confirmed that four people were killed and many injured in the Ahnin village battle, but the damage caused by the attack on the Htin Shu village police station was still under investigation.
After the battle, the military junta fired heavy weapons and reinforcements were sent to Thanbyuzayat township, according to local residents.
“I heard the sound of heavy weapons in the morning, and then there were soldiers leaving that direction. I heard that there was fighting, but I haven’t heard any more fighting yet,”
a local said. The attack was carried out by the Mon State Revolutionary Force (MSRF), the Ye People’s Defense Force (YPDF), and allied forces under the command of the Mon State Federal Council (MSFC) Defense Department.
In the past few days, it has been reported that the Mon and Karen Revolutionary Force(KRF) attacked two locations in Ye township.
