6 members of the military junta were killed, 13 were injured
A military junta convoy returning from a combat near Dahatpin Yae Maw, Magway Division was ambushed and fired upon, killing six members of the military junta and injuring 13 others, Burma Defense Forces spokesman Ko Thar Cho told BBM.
On October 2, at around 4 pm, the revolutionary forces ambushed the military junta group villages near Lin Kei Police Station in Upper Min Hla Township on the Thayet-Min Hla road near Dahatpin Yae Maw for three days and four nights.
“That area is under their (military junta) full control. There is no one to inform us. There is no one to feed us. They (military junta group)are running the area with only one administrator. There has never been a single battle there,”
Ko Thar Cho said.
“Six members of the military junta were killed and 13 were injured during the attack. The 40mm shell I fired went straight into the car. That caused a lot of damage,”
Ko Thar Cho said. The battle lasted only three minutes, and the military junta was unable to return fire and fled in panic.
“I felt like this is a lesson for them during the battle. It was a big smile,”
Ko Thar Cho told BBM. The losers -military junta troops, about 100 strong, arrived at the scene of the attack in four green military vehicles, without stopping, and stopped at the Dahatpin Yae Maw field, where they fired back with multiple artillery pieces.
In addition, the military junta troops were reported to have fired at random on the way back and sped away.
According to military sources, the dead military junta soldiers were taken to military defense industry 2 (Ka Pa Sa 2), and the injured were being treated in the military defense industry 2 (Ka Pa Sa 2).
During the fighting, a civilian truck arrived, causing a lot of disruption, and the military junta suffered minimal casualties as we were forced to avoid hitting the truck and reduce their firepower.
“We used heavy and small arms to do everything. When civilian vehicles came in, it caused a lot of trouble. We couldn’t shoot as much as we wanted,”
said Ko Thar Cho, a spokesman for the Burma Defense Force. The revolutionary forces were said to have successfully backed without suffering any casualties during the battle.
The military junta said it would soon deploy troops to clear the area, and encouraged supporters along the way, saying they would see again other local residents.
Therefore, the Burma Defense Force has instructed residents near the Dahatpin Yae Maw field to be vigilant and prepare for the threat posed by the military junta.
In addition, we respectfully request that travelers do not travel within 300 meters of military junta convoys and stop at a safe place if they hear gunfire.
