Military junta killed revolutionary comrades in airstrikes on western side of Demoso

The military junta has carried out airstrikes on the western side of Demoso township in Karenni State, causing casualties and injuries to revolutionary comrades.

On the morning of November 3, the military junta attacked bombs by drones in the western side of Demoso township.

The military junta used both bombing and using drones to continuously bombard the area, killing five revolutionary comrades and injuring many others, according to a revolutionary comrade on the underground.

“Yesterday, dogs were dropped the bombs by the aircrafts in the west of Demoso. There were many casualties. The airstrikes were carried out by both aircrafts and drones,” a revolutionary comrade on the underground told BBM.

The military junta has been conducting the strong defensive in the eastern part of Demoso, which they have regained, and is frequently launching an offensive on the western part of Demoso, where the revolutionary forces are based.

Although the military junta is constantly launching attacks on the western part of Demoso, and the revolutionary forces are still able to control the western part of Demoso.

“These guys have strengthened their defenses in the eastern part of Demoso, and they are frequently launching attacks on the western part. So far, there have been few clashes. The revolutionary forces are still able to control the area,” the revolutionary comrade added.

Although the military junta has been making frequent incursions into the western part of Demoso, the
revolutionary forces captured
some of the military junta solders who didn’t find the ways in these areas, and some soldiers have defected in recent months.

After interrogations of the captured prisoners of war and defected soldiers, the prisoners of war are being held in the prisons of the relevant battalions, while those who defected are being well looked after.

“In the past few months, there was one soldier who escaped during the incursion, and two of the three were killed on the spot. There was also another soldier who defected from the other military junta battalion,” he added.

The military junta has announced that it will hold elections in Loikaw, Bawlakhe, Hpruso and Demoso townships in Karenni State during the upcoming elections, and has been increasing its deployment and reinforcements in these townships.
