On November 5, at around 6 a.m., Myingyan District Battalion 3 simultaneously attacked Magyi Yoe Gate, Mount Beikthano, and Zagyan Rail Road Exit Gate that are the military junta’s fully-controlled gates in Myingyan Township.

“We were able to simultaneously attack and capture three gates where the military junta had taken fully-control in Taungtha Township. We were able to capture the first gate is the Magyi Yoe Gate. Then, we were also able to capture 11 of the 13 bunkers on Mount Beikthano” the officer told BBM.

In addition, when we attacked the Zagyan exit gate, we fired the military junta troops at the gate and they also fired back, so we couldn’t capture the gate.

“As for the Zagyan Gate, they entered the gate as soon as they heard the gunfire from the east of the city, so we could not capture the gate west of Zajan. But there was a crush.” Major Mu Too told BBM.
