Richard Chin Brothers forces have recaptured the entrance gate of the military junta to town, and seized weapons and ammunition, and captured some prisoners of war, PDF Zoland reported today.
On November 27, at 8 am, Chin State forces were able to drive out the junta soldiers of 269th Battalion, who were stationed near “Welcome to Tedim” sign, and seized weapons and ammunition, and captured some prisoners of war.
“The junta soldiers from there were demanding bribes for the cars. That is great if they are attacked like this,” a local told BBM.
During the battle, Chin Brothers forces were reported to have retreated without any casualties.
The military junta has been conducting a massive offensive since October 26, after repeatedly sending about 500 troops by helicopters to the 269th Battalion in Tedim.
The military junta is currently trying to control and investigating the movement of people into and out of Tedim, so the Chin Brothers Forces attacked it and have recaptured the entrance gate to the town.
On November 6, members of Chin Brothers Forces rescued 14 local residents, who had been held as human shields by the military junta, including a woman who was raped by junta, and seized weapons and ammunition.
