A military junta checkpoint and troops in Nattalin township and Paungde township in Bago Region were attacked, killing 3 military junta members and injuring others, a spokesman Bago Yoma PDF Strategy 22 told BBM.
On November 26, at around 10 am, a military junta checkpoint in Shar Phyu Kone village, Nattalin Township was attacked, killing 2 military junta members and injuring others, and seizing 4 motorcycles and a walkie-talkie.
“There are only their own people in that military checkpoint. The force is around 15 to 20 soldiers. There are no civilians. And we prepare for these missions in advance and then enter.There are only the military junta soldiers and Pyu,” the spokesman continued.
In addition, at around 10:30 am on the same day, 10 military junta members who were leaving Pan Thin Pin village, Paungde Township, were attacked with mines, resulting a military junta soldier was killed and the injury of another.
During these attacks, the revolutionary comrades were able to withdraw unharmed.
The attack was carried out jointly by the People’s Defense Force., No. 2 Operation Area of Bago Operational Region , and the 3801 Battalion (6) of the Thayarawaddy District under the command of the 22nd Strategic Command, and the Nattalin township people’s defence force.
