The revolutionary forces have captured a military junta camp near the western entrance to Mogok, and the military junta is conducting patrols and conducting artillery experiments inside the city.

Since the last week of November, a large number of military junta troops have entered Mogok with the TNLA and have set up camp in their previous positions, important places and government offices.

After that, the military junta troops extended their lines to the outskirts of Mogok where the revolutionary forces retreated, which led to contact with the spring revolutionary forces and fierce battle.

During these clashes, it is known that ba clashes broke out not only in the west of Mogok, where the revolutionary forces were already strong, but also in the east of Mogok. In recent days, the revolutionary forces have captured a military junta-based camp west of Mogok, an underground revolutionary comrade confirmed to BBM.

“I can confirm that a military-based camp has been captured in western Mogok. I am not allowed to talk about the current situation of the battle. Some things are complicated. Please understand for the sake of information security. Overall, the situation is good,” said an underground revolutionary comrade.

The camp in the west of Mogok, in the direction of Baw Lone Gyi village and Baw Lone Lay village, which were attacked and captured by the revolutionary forces, is only about 5 miles from Kyauk Phar village, which is the entrance to the city west of Mogok.

In addition, the military junta troops in Mogok have been patrolling the city frequently with four vehicles using jammers, since the battle with the revolutionary forces began.

In addition, armored vehicles and howitzers that were brought in at the same time when the military junta troops returned to Mogok are also being positioned in the city and are being test-fired, according to an underground source.

“There are four (4) cars in the city, three of which are full of people, and one (1) is using jammer. It seems like they are afraid to drive around. I also hear the sound of artillery fire from time to time. Even if there is no sound of firing on the ground, they are firing one by one, so I think they are testing,” he said.

The military junta has also entered Momeik, as in Mogok, and similar battles are taking place in Momeik.

In addition, during the battle near the currently occupied Baw Lone Gyi village and Baw Lone Lay village in Mogok, a civilian was injured by the military junta’s artillery and was taken to Pyin Oo Lwin for medical treatment on their own, according to local residents.
