In Falam Township, Chin State, the Chin Revolutionary Joint Forces captured a military council camp and captured two prisoners of war, a frontline military source told BBM.
Today, at around 1 am on February 14, Chin Revolutionary Joint Forces intercepted a military council column that was advancing from Taingen to provide reinforcements to Falam township between Tuphei and Lumbang villages.
“The reinforcement column that was advancing from Taingen to Falam township had a base camp between Tuphei and Lumbang. We attacked that camp around midnight last night. We can raid the camp,” a frontline military source told BBM.
In the battle, the military council suffered many casualties, and two prisoners of war were captured alive, and (11) grenades were seized.
In addition, on the night of February 13, Chin joint forces conducted a clearance operation near the Manipur River in Falam Township, and found many artillery shells planted by the military council.
“Chin joint forces conducted a clearance operation near Manipur River last night, and seized various weapons and ammunition planted by the military council,” the frontline military source told BBM.
122 mm rocket launchers, 120 mm, 81 mm, RPG grenades, and drone grenades were seized.
Currently, the military situation in Falam Township remains tense, and the military council is reinforcing its troops from Kalay.
