Here, the military junta suffered heavy losses after 2021, not only in ground battles, but also in the media battles, which were similar to modern warfare. We can clearly see this situation until the end of 2024. The military junta, which has not accepted the military junta’s arbitrary coup, has been attacked on social media to the point that it cannot bear the burden. However, it can be said that the Burmese military junta has been well prepared for the media battle, not only by strengthening its ground forces and manpower, but also by the media battle. Because according to the recruitment lists and structures leaked to Myanmar Now, a group has been formed to work for the military junta’s propaganda apparatus under the plan of the “Media Development Department” under the military junta’s Ministry of Information, and a systematic plan has been established to respond to the news of the revolutionary supporters and news outlets.

In fact, the military junta’s media battle activities have been moving at a very fast pace in recent months. Whenever a prominent figure in the revolution or an act of revolution is posted on social media, groups immediately come together and use various means to distort, and mislead the public.

Not only that, some of their military junta’s successes have been exaggerated. You can see these in the posts and comments of the news media and well-known people who are deeply involved in the revolution, and you can see how much the military junta has prepared for the media battle.

In short, the military junta has prepared the best from the ground battles and media battles that they have lost all the way from 2022 to 2024 and is now attacking the revolutionary forces. I also think that the revolutionary forces should take action to respond effectively to the military junta’s attacks on the ground and in the media battle.
