Moe Bye in Karenni State and Naung Cho in northern Shan State are towns that were returned to the military in July. Regarding the military junta’s retaking of these towns, there were some slight differences of opinion among the revolutionary forces, and there were also criticisms among themselves, such as the fact that they had to return because they needed to manage it because they did not help. This criticism was especially loud regarding the military junta’s retaking of Naung Cho.

To be frank, the recaptured towns of Naung Cho and Moe Bye are really important for the revolution. The military junta’s capture of Moe Bye will open the way for their troops to the state capital, Loikaw, and the towns of Pekon and Pinlaung, and will make it easier for them to launch ground attacks on Demoso and other towns controlled by the revolutionary forces. Similarly, the capture of Naung Cho also opens the door for the military junta to retake the areas in northern Shan that they have lost over the past few years. This is because the troops, whether from the Central Military Command (Mandalay) or the Eastern Military Command (Taunggyi), will have to cross Naung Cho first to retake the towns of Kyaukme and Hsipaw(Thibaw), which are controlled by the TNLA. I would say that the capture of Naung Cho opens the way for northern Shan.

In addition, the military junta is also somewhat proud of the fact that it has been able to recapture these two strategic cities after losing the war continuously since 2021. Because the military junta’s continuous losses in recent years have destroyed many of the strong divisions, battalions and soldiers that they have relied on for many years, and there has been widespread criticism of the military junta leaders, from the rank and file to supporters. These events will certainly be an insurmountable obstacle for the military junta generals in Nay Pyi Taw, who are too proud of their military.

That is why, shortly after they took control of the towns of Naung Cho and Moe Bye, which they have now recaptured, they sent media propagandists like Kyaw Myo Min and Kyaw Soe Oo, who are always doing propaganda for the generals, to these towns, and they took documentary and video footage to spread the message that the military junta was winning among the rank and file soldiers and supporters.

Here, I would like to briefly review what I have seen of the military junta’s recent recovery. In the past few years, our revolutionary forces and the military junta were able to quickly and quickly seized the territory of the military one by one, mainly because of their unity. To put it clearly, although the 1027 Operation was carried out by the Three Brothers, it was not just the Three Brothers who attacked the military junta, but all the revolutionary forces participated in this operation and fought together. That is, in the battles that took place in northern Shan, such as Hsipaw (Thibaw), Lashio, Hsenwi (Theinni) and many other cities, not only the Three Brothers soldiers but also the revolutionary comrades from the lands of Magway and Sagaing, the Karenni comrades, and the PLA and BPLA units that were said to be independent, also participated in the battles. Similarly, in the battles in Kachin State, the battles to capture cities in Rakhine State, From the strategic camp capture battles in Karen State to the Karenni battles, we did not attack as a single group, but rather, we all attacked together at the right time.

The military junta, knowing full well that the revolutionary forces would not be able to cope with the situation if they attacked together, took the help of China, which was their trump card, and worked to break up the revolutionary forces in northern Shan, which were the most vulnerable. When they could not withstand the pressure of China for various reasons, the army and the northern Shan forces were separated by units that could no longer fire ammunition, and their strength was considerably weakened. I would like to say that this is the main reason why the army has regained its strength as it is today.

Another thing, as we all know, is that the military junta is filling the need for military service with the military service law. During the 4-5 years of fighting, when the military junta was exhausted, deserted, and died, it enacted the military service law to include all the young men in the country in the war. This law is a legal confirmation for the Myanmar that is currently in the midst of fierce fighting to sacrifice an entire generation of young men. Although it is said that “youth are the future of the country”, the Min Aung Hlaing group has been implementing this law without thinking about anything in order to remain in power. The soldiers who could be recruited under this law were forced to die in frontline battlefields like human wave operations and attacked the revolutionary forces.

According to the reports I have received, the military junta is feeding conscripts with drugs and forcing them to die in front, which is making it really difficult for the revolutionary forces to operate on the front lines. This means that the military’s human wave operation has been successful to some extent.

Another thing is that the military junta has been upgrading drone technology. As we have said in the past, whether we accept it or not, the military junta is an organization that can spend the state budget as it pleases. That is why, after the war in which they lost, drone technology has been upgraded and widely used in battles. When we talk about drone, not only attack drones but also reconnaissance drones have been upgraded, and they have been used to locate the revolutionary forces, and to attack with more powerful weapons.

I think that the military junta has made such a comeback because of the above-mentioned factors. Here, the revolutionary forces, just like the military junta, should carefully analyze their own weaknesses and identify what needs to be fixed, and quickly make the necessary adjustments. Even when they had nothing, the revolutionary forces were able to defeat the military junta, so now that they have more ammunition and weapons than before, if they can identify the weaknesses of the forces, they will surely achieve no less success than in previous years.

As our Spring Revolution dragged on, two distinct classes gradually emerged.

The first type is the one who is immersed in their daily lives, going to bars and clubs, posting selfies, and treating the revolution as if it were fun for them, as if it had nothing to do with them, as if it were a superficial class.

Another type is the class that has been divided into those who have been fighting against the Spring Revolution since it began and who have not yet cooled down and who have been resisting it by any means necessary.

Here, revolution is not just about armed struggle, but also boycotting military equipment, excluding the communities that are related to them, and engaging in CDM, etc., are all revolutions.

Today, I want to talk a little about the UG groups, who are still fighting for their rights.

The role of UG groups was very important in the success of our revolution in such a short time.

If I have to continue, while I was running away from the military after completing my CDM, I lived with an uncle from the urban UG group,last year. That uncle was a former soldier. He was aslo our senior.

That guy is the kind of guy who talks softly and says a lot. He’s a real person who doesn’t hold back to talk. He’s honest.

Throughout the time I stayed with him, he made me feel comfortable and cared for me without any problems.

It was only through being close to him that I came to understand the lives of UG groups in detail.

Even though UG groups live in the city, they live in conditions that are as close to life as possible.

That job has to be comfortable with the environment and .It also needs to be unaware of the military junta.It’s such a very stealthy job.

Since people who work for UG groups live in the city, if they need money, they can’t go online and receive donations.

The uncle ,I lived with ,also worked for UG group but he didn’t receive any support and I’ve never seen him accept donations from anyone.

He sold his own things, mortgaged them, and got by with donations and gifts from close friends and acquaintances.

I only found out about it last week when his picture was on the news. When we were together, there was something my uncle always said when we got together.

“I will never be captured alive.

If I get one, if I get two, I will be killed and I will be executed. I can’t go to the interrogation. I can’t stand being tortured by these guys,”he said.

As I watched the news of his arrest, I imagined hearing the words he said.

I don’t know if it was because he was caught off guard or because he didn’t have time to fight back. Now, my uncle is facing the interrogation he fears most.

When asked what he would do after the revolution, he always replied that he would just drive a car again.

Even though I’m almost back,

“Take care, my nephew, if you don’t die, we’ll see you again,”

He said with a big smile. He helped me get to the northern territory, as much as he could.

The uncle who chose the UG knowing that his life was at risk because he wanted to create a free and just nation without expecting any benefits.

Now,he is facing a situation where he can’t even tell if he will live or die.

That’s just one UG I know. We don’t know how many more people like you are out there.

They are not doing this work for any reward, nor are they doing it because no one is giving them responsibility.

They are working for UG groups with their own conscience and responsibility.

They are the kind of people who work quietly and, even if they are arrested, they will disappear quietly.

The only sin worth wearing on your head is the sin of resisting injustice.

If there are such heroes around us, please take care of them with your words and your body. It is because of people like them that we are able to endure some things.

Only if UG groups can operate in the city, they can reduce the pressure on local groups and achieve victories. Only if the city can move and the local groups can move,

then the revolution will succeed quickly.

Therefore, those superficial people in the city who think if it suits us, it’s done ,those who are falling to the mold of the city’s water, saying, “We are the only ones who can do it,” should not say with their mouths that they want the revolution to succeed quickly and that they want it to be over.

Even if you can’t participate yourself, please stay quietly so that the UG groups in the city can move forward.

Reduce your travelling around and having fun. I know you need to rest, people need to have time to rest, but don’t let those who are working hard be discouraged or be disruptive.

To be more precise, the Ukrit Hta camp was attacked and captured by the PDF and KNLA forces in June 2022, as the revolutionary fighting intensified, but the operation failed and the troops had to retreat due to the military junta’s lack of air power, weapons, food, and reinforcements.Then, in order to re-energize the soldiers and supporters of the terrorist army, which was losing the war nationwide, they made a film about the Ukrit Hta battle, which was a rare victory among many defeats.

The propaganda film includes content that distorts the revolution and attempts to create a conflict between the PDF and KNLA forces.Not only that, but the local people are loyal to the military, and
The soldiers in the military army are also portrayed as fighters for the truth with a spirit of sacrifice and selflessness.

In addition, along with the film “Living Fence”, Khant Si Thu, who acted in the film, said,

“For now, all that remains is the living fence between you and us.”

Fight with your lives, never give up.” The dialogue was also quite popular among their military groups and they were quite proud of how they fought to prevent the camp from falling, how they were protecting the country, and other things that weren’t true.

Because of the military community’s false accusations and the film’s defamation of the revolutionary forces, all the comrades in the south were determined to capture the Ukrit Hta camp and destroy the military’s honor.
According to the news we have heard, the revolutionary comrades put in more effort than in other battles in the battle to capture the Ukrit Hta camp, which they have just captured, and they were even worried about not being included in the battle to capture the camp.

In June 2025, three years after the first attack on the Ukrit Hta camp, the revolutionary joint forces began to blockade and prepare to capture the camp.The military junta, because it was a camp where they proudly spread their propaganda, paid more attention to preparing the defensive position, ammunition supply, food, and heavy weapons than other camps, and it must be said that they paid a lot of attention to preventing the camp from falling.However the revolutionary forces, which were more experienced in military operations and more united than in 2022, were able to completely seize the military junta’s headquarters within a week of the blockade.

According to recording video files of the revolutionary forces, nearly 100 members of the military junta, who had been watching the military junta’s propaganda videos and had been seen in the Ukrit Hta camp, which they had been calling a “living fence”, were seen fleeing into nearby Thailand shortly after the final assault began, unable to even regain their dignity.Some the military junta’s soldiers were seen running away, without even their shirts or pants, with their lower bodies bare, in order to save their lives.Not only thay, this scene and the news of the fall of the Ukrit Hta camp are really sweet to the revolutionary supporters, and the Burmese military’s “Living Fence” that claims to be protecting the country is only portrayed as a hero in their propaganda films, but it lacks public support and the world can only say that the military junta’s members are running a marathon from the moment they hear the gunshots, waiting to run into Thailand.
