🟥 Military junta sent SMS to persuade and disunite between the NUG and PDFs

The military junta, which has been committing acts of violence against the public since the coup, is sending messages to defect PDFs that are opposing it.

It is reported that the operator was ordered to send the message contained a link to the Ministry of Information, with the text that the government and the military junta invite the allied alliance groups, including the PDFs, to work together for the national interest.

“I received the message early in the morning and saw that the PDFs were urged to be defected.Now, I think it is only sent to (-) SIM card, because the message does not reach people using other SIM cards at home,”

a person who received the message told BBM. The link sent by the military junta’s Ministry of Information includes military, civilian, the desire of all legal ethnic armed groups and political parties is to build a union based on democracy and federalism, and the PDFs have the same goals, so they have written to cooperate with the military junta.

Despite using armed force for more than 70 years, the country has only become unstable and underdeveloped, so they have written to cooperate with the PDFs during the elections held by the military junta.

In addition, the link states that if a new government is formed after the elections, the NUG and CRPH are afraid that they will lose their status as the elected government, so if their activities deviate from the PDFs’ expectations, they have written letters urging them to change the right path.

🟥Two women were with the convoy, who are said to have slept with the platoon commander

A military junta convoy providing land security for the military junta’s warships coming to Bhamo in Kachin State was attacked by revolutionary forces, killing several military junta soldiers.

On July 17 and 22, 2025, the military junta ships carrying weapons, ammunition, and food departed for Bhamo, Kachin State, in two groups.

In order to prevent these ship groups from being directly attacked, the military junta conducted aerial reconnaissance, air bombing of suspicious locations along the river, and also provided security from the ground.

🟥Hundreds of military junta soldiers have been killed

A source close to the AA military source in Ayeyarwady Region said that hundreds of military junta soldiers have been killed in clashes between the military junta and the Arakan Army (AA) and People’s Defense Forces(PDF) in Lay Myet Hna Township, Ayeyarwady Region.

On July 22, the villages of Pan Taw Gyi, Magyi Kone, Kyauk Sayit Kone, Nyaung Kone, Magyi Pin Kwin,and Kyar Kite Kwin in Lay Myet Hna Township, located on the Pathein-Monywa road, were occupied and controlled by the Arakan Army (AA) and People’s Defense Forces (PDF), and the military junta launched a military offensive to regain those areas, resulting in clashes.

On July 23, the AA and the People’s Defense Forces intercepted a military junta column of over 100 soldiers of the 66th Battalion near Let Tan Nge village, killing hundreds of military soldiers, according to a source close to the AA military source.

“The AA and PDF were attacking the military junta column since the 22nd of this month to take control of the Pathein-Monywa road. On the 23rd, they fired about nine shots at the marching military column and drove it to their firing range. When the marching military column entered their firing range, the AA and PDF surrounded and attacked, killing more than 80,”

said a source close to the AA military source. Similarly, in recent days, the military junta columns have been continuously attacking along the Pathein-Monywa road, so fighting is still intense, the source added.

“We heard that there was fighting today too. The fighting is intense when the military junta march. It is intense every 3 or 4 days,”

the AA military source added. The military junta said that on July 16, in order to counter the offensive by the Arakan Army (AA) and the allied People’s Defence Force(PDF) in Ayeyarwady Region, the Southwestern Regional Command (Na Ta Ka) and the Pathein Naval Headquarters (No.26) deployed tanks and military equipment, and three warships along the Ngawun River to reinforce the military forces in Lay Myet Hna Township.

2 locals were killed, 13 were injured, 4 were in critical condition injured by military aircraft in Mogok

The military junta has been dropping at least 6 bombs on Mogok, Mandalay Region, since morning without any fighting, just minutes apart, destroying residential buildings and killing 2 locals, injuring 13, and injuring seriously 4, a local resident told BBM.

On Tuesday, July 29, the military junta dropped bombs for the first time near the Royal Gas Station and the Min Tada Agricultural Farm in Mogok, the second time was at chapel in front of the Sakhan Thar market at 9:55 am, and the third time was at around 10:30 am near the RQ Hotel in Bee Taung, a total of 6 bombs.

“They have been coming since 9:30 this morning. They have dropped two bombs at a time, and three times have dropped. The planes are still flying,”

a local told BBM. On the night of July 13, the military junta dropped 500-pound bombs on Panma Hteik village in eastern Mogok town, injuring 6 people and damaging 7 houses where people live.

In addition, on the evening of July 26, two 250-pound bombs were dropped on the Golden Butterfly Hotel in eastern Mogok town, killing 1 local man and injuring 3 others, as well as damaging some hotel buildings.

🟥Thonese village in Naung Cho Township have been captured, and the military troops are marching towards Hohko village

The military junta has begun sealing off the homes of the revolutionaries in Naung Cho after it captured the town of Naung Cho in northern Shan State.

The military junta launched an offensive in Naung Cho, which it lost during Operation 1027, in the early months of 2025, using two main lines from Pyin Oo Lwin and Taung Kham villages, and finally recaptured it in July.

After retaking Naung Cho, the military has begun to put its administrative mechanisms into effect, and is now beginning to seal off the homes of the revolutionaries in the town, and dozens of houses have now been sealed off.

“It has been closed three days ago, they closed the homes of the revolutionary community, there must be dozens of people’s homes (upper) in the city,”

a local revolutionary source in Naung Cho told BBM. In addition, the military junta columns from Pyin Oo Lwin have also attacked and captured Ummathee and Ummakhar villages, as well as the village of Thonese.

The revolutionary source added that the army is continuing to march towards Hohko village on the Mogok road through Thonese village, and there are clashes with the revolutionary forces.

“We have crossed Thonese from the beginning, and from there, after crossing the upper Kyu In, we will reach Hohko village. The situation in Hohko is not bad either,”

the revolutionary source told BBM. It is also reported that Hohko village is a very strategic village because it is possible to reach Mogok, Kyaukme, Moe Meik, Madaya, and Thabeik Kyin towns through this village on the Pyin Oo Lwin-Mogok road.

The military junta is requesting information from relevant departments on education and health CDM workers in Mahlaing Township to search and arrest them.

The military junta’s 1,000-strong force, which includes Battalion 99, Battalion 77 and militia, has been conducting military operations in villages in Mahlaing Township since the second week of July.

In addition, on July 26, the military junta’s troops in the city collected the lists of education and health CDM workers from relevant departments and distributed them to the troops conducting military operations.

“The CDM has taken the health and education personnel from Mahlaing Township. And we know from watermelons(insiders) that they have been ordered to arrest them if they are found in the battle line,”
