π₯In the battle lines in Mahlaing Township, the registration and household lists of local people are also being checked
The military junta is requesting information from relevant departments on education and health CDM workers in Mahlaing Township to search and arrest them.
The military juntaβs 1,000-strong force, which includes Battalion 99, Battalion 77 and militia, has been conducting military operations in villages in Mahlaing Township since the second week of July.
In addition, on July 26, the military junta’s troops in the city collected the lists of education and health CDM workers from relevant departments and distributed them to the troops conducting military operations.
βThe CDM has taken the health and education personnel from Mahlaing Township. And we know from watermelons(insiders) that they have been ordered to arrest them if they are found in the battle line,β
a military source on the ground told BBM. It is reported that the military junta ordered to have deployed a troop of around 1,000 in Aung Thar village near the Mahlaing-Wundwin border, and is also deploying a military troop in Mahlaing town and is conducting military operations in nearby villages.
The military troops have reportedly forced local residents to flee, while some CDM personnel have also temporarily taken refuge,he added.
“The CDMs here are not staying in the liberated areas because the revolution is strong. Most of them are staying in their own villages. Now some of them are fleeing. Some of the youth and people are also fleeing,”
a military source told BBM. It is reported that the military junta is currently marching towards the villages of Panaing, Htanaung Kyin, and Ywar Thit Kalay from northwest Mahlaing, and there are some contacts with the revolutionary forces.
