2 locals were killed, 13 were injured, 4 were in critical condition injured by military aircraft in Mogok
The military junta has been dropping at least 6 bombs on Mogok, Mandalay Region, since morning without any fighting, just minutes apart, destroying residential buildings and killing 2 locals, injuring 13, and injuring seriously 4, a local resident told BBM.
On Tuesday, July 29, the military junta dropped bombs for the first time near the Royal Gas Station and the Min Tada Agricultural Farm in Mogok, the second time was at chapel in front of the Sakhan Thar market at 9:55 am, and the third time was at around 10:30 am near the RQ Hotel in Bee Taung, a total of 6 bombs.
“They have been coming since 9:30 this morning. They have dropped two bombs at a time, and three times have dropped. The planes are still flying,”
a local told BBM. On the night of July 13, the military junta dropped 500-pound bombs on Panma Hteik village in eastern Mogok town, injuring 6 people and damaging 7 houses where people live.
In addition, on the evening of July 26, two 250-pound bombs were dropped on the Golden Butterfly Hotel in eastern Mogok town, killing 1 local man and injuring 3 others, as well as damaging some hotel buildings.
