The military airstrike on Than Pin Hla village in Natogyi Township, Mandalay Region, had resulted in civilian casualties.
On August 2, 2025, at around 11:00 am, a 10-year-old boy was killed, four civilians were injured, and two houses were destroyed when the military junta carried out an senseless airstrike on Than Pin Hla village in Natogyi Township.
“The child was killed by a bomb while he was at home. There was no military junta’s incursion, nor there was any fighting. They dropped the bomb without any reason. The child who died was only 10 years old,”
a local resident told BBM. The military junta often carries out airstrikes on villages in Natogyi Township, and among those killed by bombs are children.
On July 29, a drone bomb attacked on a monastery in Myet Shu village, Natogyi Township killed (7) people, including (4)children who were playing.
