USDP Chairman, U Khin Yi, met with actors at a “Meeting with Friends” event and discussed the upcoming elections in the next six months.
The Yangon Region Party Chairman also attended the event held in Yangon on August.
“They were the ones who shouted until their throats broke during the strike. Now, they are the ones who are shaking hands with the military junta with big smiles on their faces,”
a revolutionary arts group told BBM. The military junta is trying to hold elections in December and January in various ways, and is planning to declare 63 cities under a state of emergency as black zones and crack down on them within the next six months.
