BBM has investigated that the military junta restricted travel to some villages in Ingapu Township, Hinthada District, Ayeyarwady Region.

The military junta restricted travel to villages such as Kyee Pin Village and Htone Paw in Kwin Kauk area of Ingapu Township on July 25, and also restricted the purchase of food, medicine and other goods, according to locals.

“The villages in Ingapu Township have been restricted by road. The military junta is conducting offensive operations to regain control of the Pathein-Monywa road. That is why the military junta has restricted travel,”
