αΊ π₯13 military junta soldiers were killed, some ammunition were seized
Revolutionary forces attacked in advance 2 military junta vehicles on the Monywa-Mandalay road in Myinmu Township, Sagaing Region, killing 13 military junta soldiers and seizing some ammunition, an official from the Black Eagle Defence Force – MMU told BBM.
On August 30, at around 6 am, two military junta vehicles with about 25 soldiers leaving the Myaung Road junction were attacked with RPGs and then with small arms, causing one vehicle to be completely destroyed and at least 5 witnesses to be killed.
“In this incident, there were about 25 people, one Alphard and one 4-wheel drive, firing guns at the roadside in front, and two cars following behind. The first car was hit by an RPG, and the car couldn’t do anything, so it made the soldiers on foot attacked below,”
an official from the Myinmu Eagle Protection Group told BBM. In Myinmu Township, along the Monywa-Mandalay road from Ahrlakatpa to Doe Myanmar Kyaw Oil Store, Ye-U Oil Store, and Myaung Road junction, the military junta has deployed close to each other, and forces from these positions have also been seen the hidding and collecting money.
“When we went up and tried to seize the cars, two cars came out of Myinmu. There were our soldiers injured there , cause of ammunition, so we couldn’t collect all the weapons. There are many dead bodies in the video footage,”
he continued. The statement also said that 13 soldiers from the military junta were killed during the attack and many were seriously injured, as well as 2 MA11s, 1 magazine of ammunition and 1 Inaga grenade.
“As for the dog deaths, we witnessed the driver in the car, and all the people in the Alphard , and the other 2 dogs who were walking died, so total 5 dogs died in the incident. As for the injuries, many were injured. According to the ground reports, 3 more dogs died in the hospital, and another 5 died while receiving treatment,”
the official continued. The attack resulted in many casualties on the part of the military junta, and after the attack, the military junta also fired heavy weapons at the surrounding area.
The Black Eagle Defence Force – MMU has informed the public that they are working to the best of their ability to deal with the military situation and to be aware of the military situation and to be careful when moving around.
“When the soldiers withdrew after this incident, they continued to shoot at the people as usual, targeting them without any reason. They also fired at those riding motorcycles from their positions,”
an official from the force said. The operation was led by the Myinmu Township PDF and was jointly carried out by the Black Eagle Defence Force (MMU), Military branch 2 of Sagaing District Battalion (1), Ahrlakatpa Rural Defence Force, Taw Chaung-U Rural Defence Force, and Myinmu Township PDF. It is reported that one soldier was injured by a bullet in the leg.
