The revolutionary forces attacked the Pyu Saw Htee camp based in Tet Wun village, Natmauk Township, Magway Division, killing 5 members of Pyu Saw Htee and seizing some weapons and ammunition, the Thayet District No. (3) Battalion, Ngarpyayma Guerrilla Force announced today.
The revolutionary forces led by guerrilla warfare battalion branch of the No.3 Ngarpyayma Battalion, along with allied forces, attacked Pyu Saw Htee’s headquarters Bo Htun and members of Pyu Saw Htee group at 5:10 a.m. today, and the battle lasted about 40 minutes, an official from the Thayet District No. (3) Battalion, Ngarpyayma Guerrilla Force told BBM.
Five members of Pyu Saw Htee group, including Pyu Saw Htee leader Bo Htun, were killed in the battle.
“Five members were killed. There were no injuries. All of them died. They were the ones who were causing trouble to the local people,”
an official from the 3rd Battalion of the Tharet District’s Ngarpyayma Guerrilla Force told BBM. During the fighting, a vehicle belonging to the Pyu Saw Htee members was destroyed, and a 22-point hand-made pistol, (5) M1 carbines, (95) carbine bullets, (2) shotguns,(30) shotgun bullets, (2) hand grenades, 100,000 kyats in cash, military uniforms, (4) phones, and a military service book were seized.
The fighting was led by the Ngarpyayma Battalion of the 3rd Battalion of the Tharet District, and was joined by the Yenangyaung PDF, Minbu District Military Department’s People’s Security Force, the Chauk Revolutionary Army (CRA), and the Daung Setthi Guerrilla (Peacock Soldier Guerrilla).
