🟥A Pyu army column led by Thida Yu Mon is also advancing from Mahlaing town towards Natogyi
According to local military sources, more than 1,000 soldiers of the military junta are advancing from Pyin Si village to the east of Natogyi in Mandalay Region.
Starting on the evening of September 25, more than 1,000 soldiers of the military junta are said to have advanced from Pyin Si village to the border of Mahlaing township and Natogyi township and into the villages of Eingyitaw and Ywa Thar Aye.
There were some clashes with the revolutionary forces during the advance in Natogyi township, and the military junta called in air support with a Y-8 aircraft before entering Ywa Thar Aye village.
In addition, the military junta columns are also marching into smaller columns and clearing villages along the road to Natogyi.
“The main column is the Pyin Si column, with over 1,000 soldiers. There are many divisions along it. Since it is located between Natogyi and Ma Hlaing, there are also clashes with some of the revolutionary forces. The other day, they bombed and entered Ywa Thar Aye village and Eingyi Taw village with Y-8s,”
a military source on the ground told BBM. The military junta columns that entered Eingyi Taw village looted valuables from public houses in the village and burned them.
The military junta columns then continued to attack the villages of Suyit Kone and Aung Pan Kone on the road to Natogyi.
Similar to these columns, more than 100 military junta columns from Mahlaing Township, including the Thida Yu Mon Pyu group, were also conducting military operations through Mahlaing Township to Natogyi on the night of September 25.
The Pyu Saw Htee columns left from Mahlaing Township’s Pan Hlaing Road and, after clearing the villages of Magyi Pin Pu, Thaman Kan, and Thone Taung Nyaung along the way, joined forces with the military junta columns that were conducting military operations from Pyin Si Village, he added.
“Starting from Pan Aing Road .It passed through the villages of Magyi Pin Pu, Thayet Kyaung Pin, Thaman Kan, and Thone Taung Nyaung. There was also fighting along the way with the Pyu line. Now it has joined with the Pyin Si line and is heading towards Natogyi,”
he added. The military junta has been cutting off and blocking the Myingyan, Natogyi, and Taung Thar areas since August, and it is also said that the Pyu group led by Thida Yu Mon has been frequently using the line to launch attacks.
