The battle is taking place daily in Bhamo, Kachin State, and five military junta soldiers including a major were killed in drone strikes by the Revolutionary Forces last week.
Despite the propaganda media under the military junta claiming that the military has fully taken control of Bhamo, fighting continues to take place in the city.
“Every day, every day, there are only two things that less or more, it’s normal, there is no day when the battle stops,”
a revolutionary soldier from the Bhamo battlefield told BBM. Last week,the five (5) military officers from the military junta were meeting in Bhamo to repair their drones when the revolutionary forces launched some attacks.
The revolutionary forces conducted aerial reconnaissance of the military junta members who were gathering before launching a drone attack, killing all five (5) of them on the spot.
In addition, the military junta’s 105 mm artillery, which is conducting indiscriminate shelling of possible locations where the revolutionary forces may be present, was also targeted by drones on the same day, another soldier on the ground told BBM.
“Just last week, we got a drone, a 105mm gun, a major, and four military junta soldiers. It’s been about a week now, and they’re all dead. I think the major and four were preparing the drone. They were gathering around the drone. When they were shot, they all died,”
the comrade told BBM.Due to the high number of casualties on the ground, the military junta has been conducting more airstrikes than ground operations in recent days.
In addition, the military junta dropped the drones, airstrikes on the areas where the revolutionary forces are located with jet fighters and Y-12 aircraft according to the comrade.
“I think they have many casualties. The planes have been flying all day long, both fighters and Y-12s. They’ve been flying since morning, and they’re still flying, one after another,”
the comrade added. The military junta also said that in recent days, there have been military incursions to break up the communication line near the Three Mile area of Bhamo, and at least seven military junta soldiers were killed and forced to retreat due to attacks by the revolutionary forces.
