More than 30 military junta soldiers were killed in Sinlan Battle near the No.6 Defense Industry (KaPaSa-6) in Okeshitpin Township, Bago Region, where the AA and allied forces were attacking, according to military sources.

The AA and allied forces were attacking the outposts in Sinlan village since last September, and the battle caused more intense on both sides, with the military junta side suffering more casualties.

Military sources also said that the military junta is building a defensive position at the top of Nyaung Chay Dauk village, between Sinlan village and Okeshitpin township, to march an offensive against Nyaung Kyoe side, which is controlled by the Arakan Army and its allied forces.

The military junta had been carrying more than 30 people killed in the
Sinlan battle in recent days,and buried at Aye Thu Kha Cemetery in Okeshitpin township, CDM Captain Zin Yaw told BBM.

“The military junta is building a new base at the top of the bridge at Nyaung Chay Dauk village between Sinlan village and Okeshitpin township. It seems that they are trying to attack through Sinlan, where the battle is intense, towards Nyaung Kyoe area.However, in the past few days, there have been about 30 more deaths on the military junta side. It is reported that the funeral procession was carried out by hearses,” CDM Captain Zin Yaw said.

Military sources close to the AA also said that every time the military junta tries to attack the positions held by the AA and allied forces,it has been retreating with heavy losses.

Yesterday, on October 9, the AA and allied forces attacked the Naylan Taung Point Outpost in Sinlan village, and the military situation is intense on both sides.

“Yesterday the battle was very intense. They were attacking the Naylan Taung Point Outpost. Heavy weapons and drones were being fired from both sides. There were many casualties on the military junta side. The military forces were also being reinforced in Okeshitpin Township,” an AA military source told BBM.

The military junta forces are also reorganizing new military groups at the
No.6, No.9,and No.16 of the defense industries (KaPaSa) in Okeshitpin Township.

There are seven defense industries (KaPaSa) in Bago Region, where the AA and allied forces are attacking.They are
the No.3, No.7 and No.19 of defense industries (KaPaSa) in Pyay Township, and the No.5, 6, 9 and 16 of defense industries (KaPaSa) in Okeshitpin Township.

The AA and allied forces have attacked and controlled Nyaung Kyoe Camp on the Padaung-Taung Goke Road in the western part of Bago Region, including Nyaung Kyoe Camp, Moe Hte Camp, Taung Pon Gyi Camp and Bagan Kwe Camp.

The No.6 defense industry (KaPaSa-6) located in Nyaung Chay Dauk village, Okeshitpin Township, is surrounded by Outpost Hill camps such as Laythar Taung, Sinlan Taung, and Sanpat Let Taung, and the No.9 and No.5 defense industries are located on the Pathein-Monywa road south of Okeshitpin.

The No.6 defense industry (KaPaSa-6) of the military junta is located near Nyaung Chay Dauk Village, and it is only about 7 miles away from Sinlan village, where the Arakan Army (AA) and allied forces are fighting eachother.

The Outpost Hill camps in Sinlan Village are being attacked by the Arakan Army (AA), the Student Armed Forces (SAF), the Burma People’s Liberation Army (BPLA), and the People’s Defense Forces (PDF).
