At 10:30 a.m. today, October 13, the military junta bombed by a jet fighter on a school in Vanha village, 30 miles from Hakha township.
“A jet fighter dropped a bomb at 10:30 a.m. today. Two students under the age of 10 were killed and at least 10 other children and teachers were injured, according to the latest information,” a Chin resident said.
The bombing by the military junta also damaged the back of the primary school in Vanha village, and the injured were taken to hospital for emergency treatment.
The military junta has been bombing civilian homes, hospitals, clinics and schools by aircrafts, committing war crimes.
On October 8, the military junta also bombed schools and boarding houses in Wan Ma Thu village and Htin Chaung village in Mindat Township, Chin State, killing three students and a disabled woman and injuring more than 10 others.
