After the AA and allied forces have captured the military radar station of the Nat Yae Kan Air Defense Base in Padan Cantonment, in the borderland of Ngape Township, Magway Region, the military junta is preparing to build outposts in a defensive structure near the No.14 defense industry (KaPaSa-14 ), according to military sources in Ngape Township.

On October 14(yesterday), the Arakan Army and allied forces attacked and captured the military radar station of the Nat Yae Kan Air Defense Base in Magway Region and the Rakhine Yoma border after the nine months of battle. The military junta at radar station is preparing to launch an attack against the Western Regional Command (NaPaKha) in Ann, Rakhine State, which the AA has captured.

“The defenses of Nat Yae Kan Hill have been broken two days ago. We can say that we have completed the mission yesterday. We have taken the main base of the Nat Yae Kan radar station. We cannot say that we have fully controlled the entire Nat Yae Kan strategic hill,” a military source close to the AA told BBM.

When the Arakan Army and the AA forces captured the main base of the radar station of Nat Yae Kan strategic hill, they also captured some officers and military junta soldiers, some weapons and ammunition, military sources said.

The military junta troops are marching down the forest road from the No.14 defense industry -KaPaSa 14 to attack Nat Yae Kan strategic hill, which is currently occupied by the coalition forces. The AA and the joint forces are also attacking another military junta defense base near Nat Yae Kan strategic hill, Khamauk Taung, near Bone Baw.

If the AA and allied forces can capture the Khamauk Taung camp near the Bone Baw, they will be able to fully control the Nat Yae Kan strategic area.

If the Arakan Army and allied forces can capture Khamauk Taung camp near the Nat Yae Kan strategic area, they will be able to threaten the entire military junta base that is the No.14 defense industry (KaPaSa-14), so the military junta is building bunkers near the No.14 defense industry (KaPaSa-14).

According to military sources in Ngape Township, the military junta is building several bunkers near the Pyinwa checkpoint at the Ann-Padan road junction in Tharyar KoneးnKobee village, 6 miles from the No.14 defense industry (KaPaSa-14).

“In order to protect the No.14 defense industry (KaPaSa-14) in case the Nat Yae Kan strategic hill falls, they are preparing to build outposts near the Pyinwa checkpoint and Tharyar Kone village at the intersection of the Ann-Padan road. These outposts are also being reinforced by the battalions of the Padan Cantonment,” a military source said.

The Padan Cantonment has the 905th Artillery Operations Command Headquarters, the 375th Artillery Battalion, and the 409th Artillery Battalion, which are located more than 10 miles from the Nat Yea Kan strategic hill. These battalions are also reinforcing the currently prepared camps.
