The military junta dropped a 500-pound bomb by airstrike, so 4 civilians were killed and more than 10 were injured in Pan Nilar village, Ponnagyun Township, Rakhine State, which is controlled by the Arakan Army (AA), according to Ponnagyun residents.

The military junta airstrikes targeted Pan Nilar village in Ponnagyun Township at around 12 noon today with two Y-12 aircrafts.

The military junta dropped the bombs near a school in Pan Nilar village, killing four people on the spot, including two children, and seriously injuring more than 10 others.

“The bomb attacks took place around 12:00 today. The military dictatorship dropped two 500-pound bombs
with a Y-12 aircraft. So, four people were killed including two children and more than 10 were injured. Four people have now been taken for emergency medical treatment,” a Ponnagyun resident told BBM.

The Y-12 aircraft of the military junta also dropped two 500-pound bombed on Ponnagyun township before bombing Pan Nilar village.

The military junta also bombed Ponnagyun, Rathedaung and Kyaukphyu townships with airstrikes and drones on October 30.

Similarly, on October 30, At around 1 p.m., local residents reported that the military junta troops dropped three 500-pound bombs on the Ponnagyun-based Infantry Battalion (the No. 550 Infantry Regiment) and the downtown areas with fighter jets.

two bombs on Zin Chaung Kone Bwe village in Zin Chaung Cantonant, Kyauk Phyu Township. Due to the bombing, Ma Sabel Win (21 years old), Daw Thandar Nyein (53 years old), Daw May Myat Thu (31 years old), U Maung Myint Soe (35 years old), Ko Aung Paing Htwe (27 years old) and Ma Su May Yae (17 years old), all residents of Zin Chaung Kone Bwe village, were killed, and 18 others were injured, according to local residents.

The military junta, which is facing defeat in the clashes of Rakhine frontline, so it is also continuously bombing schools, hospitals and densely populated areas where civilians live by using airstrikes and drones.
