🟥Some TNLA administrative staff have begun to move

A Mogok resident said that Anyar revolutionary forces have joined forces to defend Mogok, and the local people are preparing to help as much as they can to defend the city.

On October 29, due to Chinese intervention, the TNLA announced that it would withdraw from Mogok and Momeik, where its forces were located.

As soon as the TNLA statement was released, the Mandalay PDF, Mogok Strategy, TRI Strategy, Anyar Revolutionary Forces, and other spring revolutionary forces in Mogok announced that they would continue to defend Mogok and Momeik, and invited any revolutionary forces that wanted to join.

Following these invitations, some of the revolutionary forces from the north have now arrived in Mogok to join the revolutionary forces in Mogok.

In addition, some local people are also reportedly joining the revolutionary forces in defending Mogok and providing assistance in whatever way they can.

“Right now, the revolutionary groups are coming, they are donating blankets. Every ward, there are people from the hot areas, and since it has been raining continuously since today, the weather is getting colder. People are also donating for ammunition in every ward. They are donating 30,000 kyats to 50,000 kyats so that people who can barely eat a day can’t afford it. The residents are surrounding the groups with all their might,” a Mogok resident told BBM.

Due to the battle and the complicated military situation, some people are also starting to evacuate from Mogok, and the carfare is about 700,000 kyats per person.

“Some people are afraid that the revolutionary groups will be difficult to fight if they are in the city, so they are making various arrangements to avoid it. There are also people in the city who are worried and avoiding it. Some want to avoid it, but they can’t afford it because the carfare is 700,000 kyats per person. They also use motorbikes,” the local resident continued.

In addition, some junior TNLA administrative staff in Mogok have begun to move out, and important office equipment is being moved.

“It’s not very noticeable, but I saw the TNLA slowly moving out important office equipment. The junior staff have moved out, only the senior staff are left. Teachers and others have been asked to finish their work while they move out their equipment,” he continued.

The TNLA has not officially announced a date for its withdrawal from Mogok and Momeik, but there are reports that the underground forces may be able to withdraw completely before the end of November.
