Revolutionary forces attacked military junta gate with RPGs in Lel Thit village, Myingyan Township

The revolutionary forces attacked with small arms and RPGs to the military junta gate where military junta soldiers, police and Pyu Saw Htee are located , so military junta members were killed and at least 10 were injured in Lel Thit village, Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, according to Colonel Thet Gyi, battalion commander of the 7th Zero guerrilla battalion in Myingyan District, told BBM.

On November 4, at around 2:00 p.m., Comrade Popbar bravely went up the road and fired RPGs into the bunker at the military junta gate in Lel Thit village, Myingyan Township, killing 8 military council members and injuring at least 10 others,

β€œThe first small arms fire killed one on the spot. At that time, the scattered soldiers all gathered in the bunker. As they ran inside, Comrade Pogba went straight to the main road and aimed to fire with the RPG. When he fired, a huge cloud of smoke rose and the bunker exploded. After that, there was no movement. Ko Min, the head of Lel Thit village, died on the spot,” Comrade Thet Gyi told BBM.

The battle lasted about 20 minutes, and the comrades from the Zero guerrilla battalion were able to retreat without any casualties.

β€œThe battle started at 2:00 PM and lasted for about 20 minutes. β€œOur comrades were able to withdraw unharmed until the retreat,” Comrade Thet Gyi told BBM.

After the battle, the revolutionary comrades tried to gather their weapons, but they had to retreat quickly when they heard that the 15th Infantry Division of the military junta was coming with three large military vehicles to support them.

While the revolutionary comrades were retreating, they were also informed that they had been captured alive by two informants of the military junta, who were handed over to the relevant authorities.

The military junta gate where the revolutionary forces attacked was only about 2 miles away from the headquarters of the 15th Infantry Division based in Myingyan.

The operation was carried out by the 7th Zero Guerrilla battalion of Myingyan District Battalion, the Shwe Kan Thar Column (People’s Defence Force in Myingyan Township), and led by Sit Thu Gyi (Peacock Soldier – Zero Column 5), and the first child of Yangon and Shwe Kan Thar Column 2 jointly participated in the attack.
