The election propaganda films will feature actors Pyay Ti Oo, Eaindra Kyaw Zin, and Wutt Hmone Shwe Yi, while Lu Min will not act as an actor but as a director.
Lu Min left the set after only 2 hours of filming, so directors Win Lwin Htet, Waing, Mee Pwar, and Aww Yatha continued filming, according to a source close to the art industry.
“Pyay Ti Oo, Eaindra Kyaw Zin, and Wutt Hmone Shwe Yi acted as actors, and there were also actors like Mee Pwar, Waing, Aww Yatha, and Win Lwin Htet. Lu Min came to the set and said that he would act as a director, not an actor. He stayed for 2 hours and then left the set, so the director Win Lwin Htet, Waing, Mee Pwar, and Aww Yatha continued the filming,” a person close to the art industry told BBM.
On the other hand, the actress Phway Phway was arrested during a filming in Pyin Oo Lwin for not answering the military junta’s call to participate in the propaganda.
There are reports that the military junta arrested the actress Phway Phway and released her after interrogation, pressure, and negotiations, but BBM cannot independently confirm this.
The military junta also arrested three film directors and two actors for criticizing the election propaganda film “Those who will gallop the History of the Era” released by the military junta and for giving love reactions to the posts criticizing it.
