မင်းသော် The Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) office in Launglon town, Tanintharyi Region, was fired after being bombed and attacked, and military junta troops are also conducting a thorough interrogation in the town, according to a local resident.
At around 8:30 a.m. on November 8 (today), a loud explosion was heard from the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) office in the town, and it caught fire.
Shortly after the explosion, military junta troops arrived at the office, but the office was also destroyed in the explosion.
“The USDP Party office in Launglon town, Tanintharyi Region, was destroyed into pieces and set on fire at 8:30 a.m. on November 8. I’m so happy. When I heard the explosion from my house, it was the USDP office in the town. We
didn’t go out because the dogs (military junta soldiers) were there,” a resident of Launglon told BBM.
In addition, the military junta’s police and soldiers have also been deployed to the area around the USDP Office where the explosion occurred, questioning suspects, and taking photographs.
The military junta often arrests and tortures local residents who are not involved in such explosions, so most of the residents have been forced to stay indoors after the explosion.
“The dogs (military junta soldiers) interrogated the person who they suspected,so the people are scared, and they are patrolling and conducting a thorough search , so we don’t dare to go out again,” the local resident said.
After the military junta announced that the election will be held in December, it has been asking for the submission of representative lists, publishing the lists of townships where the elections will be held, and announcing election regulations.
