Famous singers joined military junta’s fake election propaganda

It has been reported in the military junta’s propaganda media that famous singers have joined the propaganda for the military junta’s fake election to be held on December 28.

Today, on November 11, in the military junta’s propaganda media, famous singers such as Phoe Kar, Han Nay Tar, Ye Yint Aung, Wai La, Aung La, Aung Htet, Phyo Myat Aung, Ni Ni Khin Zaw, Eaint Chit, Lain Maw Thee, Chan Myae Mg Cho, Mi Sandi, Aye Mya Phyu, and May Melody have personally participated in the military junta’s election propaganda by holding slogans related to the fake election.

They are spreading propaganda for the military junta’s fake election with deceptive campaign slogans such as “We will take a step towards the goal of democracy by voting”, “Let’s go to the polling-stations and vote to strengthen democracy”, “Let’s start with elections for socio-economic development”, “Let’s go to the polling-stations to vote for a better future for the country,” “Every citizen should vote for a better future for the country,” “Let’s choose someone who can lead the country to develop,” and “We will bring democracy to the polling-stations to walk the same path.”

The military junta’s propaganda media reported that the famous singers are working to create awareness campaigns to successfully hold the 2025 multi-party democratic election.

In addition, the song “Let’s Vote Together,” composed by Kai Zar and sung by Moe Yan Zun, Nansu Yati Soe, and Yadana My, performing Tun Ko Ko, Yune Yune, and Thinzar Wint Kyaw, is also being broadcast on channels under the military junta.

“In this situation, they have to do what military junta groups tell them to do. It’s just a waste of time to say that they don’t want to do it. We also suffered all kinds of hardships when the military junta chased us.They are afraid of being stabbed when the danger knock on their door,” a revolutionary artist told BM.

Last week, a propaganda film called “Those who will change the history of the Era” was released, and famous actors participated in the propaganda campaign, focusing on the strong health and education workers of the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM), and promoting the right to do Non-CDM for the good of the country.

“When that movie released, just watching the short dialogues that were posted on FB made me angry. The actors said they were only doing it because they were threatening to do. They were spreading propaganda with great intensity,” a CDM teacher told BBM.

Currently, the international community is protesting the military junta’s fake election, and the Philippines, which currently holds the ASEAN chairmanship, has said it will not send observers to the election.
