Richard Two military junta columns entered Kan Htoo village in the western part of Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region, and brutally shot a civilian in the head, a local revolutionary comrade told BBM.
On November 11, at around 1:30 p.m., the military junta divided into two columns and entered Kan Htoo village where is near the Ywar Thar Gyi kennel in the western part of Wetlet Township, and they burned the village and brutally shot and killed an innocent civilian.
“We entered the clearing at around 1:30 p.m., but it was already too late. Kan Htoo Village was set on fire. The dogs(military junta soldiers) took as much of the food as they could from the village,” the comrade said.
The body of the murdered civilian was discovered by BFRA – Pro Life group, Yoma and Min Thar Gyi groups during a clearing operation.
“The name of the deceased is not yet known. The head was brutally cut off, it was painful to see it open. The Ywa Thar Gyi military junta’s columns did this,” he added.
Currently, the military junta is advancing into villages in Wetlet Township, and tens of thousands of local people are reportedly fleeing the battle.
