A 30-vehicle military junta convoy carrying copper was detonated and attacked with 5 sets of claymore mines,
in Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, killing 3 military junta members and seriously injuring 6 others, an official of Monywa Dynamite Special Task Force told BBM.

On November 14, at around 9 a.m., eight military junta trucks covered steel plates and 22 copper trailer trucks leaving the Monywa based North Western Military
Command (Namakha) and Wanbao Copper Mining were detonated with 5 sets of claymore mines.

The military junta convoy was stopped near Khin Mon village multi-purpose farm and was also attacked with small arms.

“They attacked from a single point with five landmines. They stopped near the Khin Mon village agribusiness farm. At that time, they fired more small arms,” the official said.

According to eyewitness reports, three members of the military junta were killed and six others were seriously injured in the operation.

The dead and injured were taken to the Monywa based North Western Military Command (Namakha) in four medical vehicles in one time and two vehicles in one time, a total of six vehicles, from Monywa.

The operation was led by the BHARE HEART ARMY-BHA and carried out by the CHINDWIN FIGHTER GROUP.CFG and MONYWA DYNAMIT-STF.
