TNLA police have closed all roads in and out of Mogok after military junta members entered until today

🟥A large-scale force of military junta has been deployed the areas controlled by revolutionary forces

After the military junta troops entered Mogok, the TNLA has closed all roads in and out of the city, and is not even allowing the remaining people to move around.

Since the last week of November, some military junta advance troops have arrived in Mogok and are said to have been investigating some parts of the city in civilian clothes.

Then, after 10pm on November 27, military troops entered the TNLA-controlled Naung Cho-Mogok road in large numbers.

After the arrival of the junta troops, the TNLA increased security on all roads in and around Mogok town starting on November 28, and restricted all entry and exit, a military source on the ground told BBM.

“The military junta started to enter on the night of the 27th, probably in trucks. After they arrived, the Ta’ang police closed all roads. Vehicles from outside the town were not allowed to enter the town, and those inside the town were not allowed to cross at intersections.”

In addition, the areas where the TNLA police are currently providing special security are not only key locations in the city, but also areas where the military junta’s government offices were previously based and where the military junta had previously been stationed.

The people are worried because of the chaotic situation in the city, and Mogok is quiet and there is no traffic, the source added.

“The roads that are currently closed are near the traffic lights in the city center, around the road near high school, around the areas from Shan Taw monastery to Uyin monastery near Chan Thar Gyi, and along the road to the police station. I heard that people are not being given food, and some people who are not healthy are being driven back to buy medicine and other things.”

The military junta said that as soon as it entered Mogok, it immediately set up a large force in the areas where the military junta was present.

In addition, some military junta forces are entering the city in convoys, and some supporters of the military junta are writing on social media about the fact that all public servants are expected to work by December.
