On November 24, the revolutionary forces attacked nearly 60 members of the military junta and the Pyu Saw Htee who were stationed at the Monywa Technical University, killing four and seriously injuring seven others.
“We are satisfied, but it is difficult because the area is under the control of the military junta. The enemy had a lot of heavy weapons and ammunition, but we were not able to pick them up. However, I am satisfied because my side was able to complete the mission without any damage,” said Comrade Sai Thet Aung.
The battle lasted for about 20 minutes, and during the battle, two small arms were destroyed by the revolutionary forces.
“We fired from the point 1 for about 20 minutes. During the battle, a G4 and a MA 2 were damaged. The allies and our comrades were harmless,” said Comrade Sai Thet Aung.
The military junta troops were stationed at Technology University, so they had to conduct operations without harming the people.
In addition, if the military junta troops continue to target innocent people, they will carry out more serious attacks. The military junta has warned by Peacock Generation Battalion to maintain the name of the Tatmadaw and fight bravely.
The firefight was carried out jointly by the platoon 2-Column 3 of Monywa District Battalion 2, Column 4 of Monywa District Battalion 12(Mee Tauk Group), Chaung-U Mee Tauk Group (MTG), and the Royal God People Defense Force.
