The KNLA-Detained PDF Tactical Operation Commander and Comrades have returned to their battalion with weapons, and that responsible will be dealt with according to military regulations, Comrade Saw Dar Ko, Commander of the Special Regional Division, Tactics 33, announced on his social media.

On December 17, in the KNU Brigade 4 area, KNLA forces disarmed and temporarily detained about 50 PDF comrades, including Comrade Saw Dar Ko, Commander of the Special Regional Division, Tactics 33, and Battalion No. 2, Dawei District, Battalion Commander Min Thar Gyi.

“With Happy Karen New Year, all the comrades of the 2nd Battalion of Dawei District have returned to their battalion with weapons today. We, the allied brothers, have achieved great success in the negotiation with both sides. We are revolutionary brothers who share the same common goal, and there are many things to do in the future,” Comrade Saw Dar Ko, the tactical operation commander, announced this afternoon.

In addition, Comrade Saw Dar Ko also announced that it is time to stop talking about conflict-ridden for the revolution, and that guilty comrades will be taken action in accordance with the military regulations.

“Let us only hear voices of support for the revolution. We should stop opposing views on revolution forces that are threatening to disunite us. Don’t put too much pressure on our revolutionary brothers who are struggling on the ground. We know best. We will take action against those who are guilty in accordance with the military law. I am most grateful to the revolutionary people. We will build with mutual respect, mutual trust, and generosity,” said Comrade Saw Dar Ko, the Tactical Operation commander.

On December 12, officials from the Special Regional Division, Tactics 33, and officials from the YGF, KBDF, and the Dawei District Laung Lone Battalion met to discuss military, political, and future plans, and assign tasks, led by Comrade Saw Dar Ko.
