6 military council members who penetrated into Falam town, Chin State, have surrendered to the Chin National Defense Force (CNDF), a frontline military source told BBM.

Six military council members who entered Falam town in full force to retake Falam town were demoralized and surrendered yesterday, February 14.

“There are two military council members from the eastern village column of Falam town and four from the western village column, a total of six, and they have four hand grenades,” a frontline military source told BBM.

The military council members who entered the battlefield were extremely exhausted and had no hope of continuing, the frontline military source said.

Yesterday, on February 14, the Chin Joint Defense Forces attacked the defense hill of Htinshu Camp in Falam Township and captured the camp.

In addition to capturing two military council members as prisoners of war, 11 weapons were also seized.

In addition, on the night of February 13, the Chin Joint Defense Forces conducted a clearing operation near the Manipur River in Falam Township, and the Chin Joint Defense Forces also found many artillery shells planted by the military council.
