The revolutionary forces ambushed a military convoy carrying food and weapons to the military junta’s camps in Myingyan District, Mandalay Region, and the military junta suffered casualties and some prisoners of war were captured according to the Myingyan District Battalion 7 Zero Guerrilla Force.

On July 3, 2025 at around 7:30 am, the revolutionary forces ambushed a military convoy carrying food and weapons and the military convoy accompanying it as security at a place between Ngazun and Myotha in Myingyan District.

The military junta members used the Myotha-Si Mee Khon road to enter Myingyan District. The attack was carried out three days in advance after receiving information that supplies would be sent to the villages of Nyan Myar Gyi and Sone.

β€œWe had been waiting in ambush since 6pm on June 30, after receiving advance information. The fighting started on the morning of the 3rd day, so we had to wait patiently for almost three days” Ko Thet Kyi, a leader of the 7th Battalion of the Zero Guerrilla Force in Myingyan District, told BBM.

The battle lasted from 7:30am to 11pm on July 3. During the battle, many people including an officer from the military junta were killed and injured and four people were captured alive.

β€œThe military junta suffered many casualties and were taken prisoners of war. This battle was tiring but we also gained a lot of benefits from the effort. I am satisfied that I fought on my own,” Ko Thet Kyi told BBM.

In addition, the Zero Guerrilla Force is a self-reliant force but it will continue to fight until the people achieve the victory and happiness they want, the Zero Guerrilla Force leader Ko Thet Kyi added.

“We are self-reliant, so sometimes we disappear without fighting. Missing is just a sign of strength. We will continue to fight until the people achieve the victory they want.”

The Zero Guerrilla Force, in addition to the Zero Guerrilla Force, was jointly led by Daung Min, Ko Khant Gyi and Column-5 from the Myingyan District Battalion (7) and it is learned that they also received a military council food truck.
