Revolutionary forces attack and blow up the weapons depot at the Wawlay strategic camp

The Force For Federal Democracy-FFD drone unit and the 6th Brigade drone unit have jointly attacked and blown up the weapons depot at the Wawlay strategic camp of the military council near the Thai-Myanmar border in the 6th Brigade area of Karen State, the FFD group announced.

The revolutionary forces are blocking the camp in the 6th Brigade area of KNU and the 6th Brigade is providing air support to prevent the camp from falling.

“Wawlay is still under siege, the military junta is dropping aerial bombs, and they only came this morning,”

a revolutionary soldier on the ground told BBM. The KNLA-led revolutionary forces have been continuously attacking and capturing military council camps in the 6th Brigade area since May and have already captured eight military camps.

During the battles to capture the camps, some military council members were captured as prisoners and a large amount of military equipment was seized according to a statement from the ground revolutionary forces.
