A military junta convoy providing land security for the military junta’s warships coming to Bhamo in Kachin State was attacked by revolutionary forces, killing several military junta soldiers.
On July 17 and 22, 2025, the military junta ships carrying weapons, ammunition, and food departed for Bhamo, Kachin State, in two groups.
In order to prevent these ship groups from being directly attacked, the military junta conducted aerial reconnaissance, air bombing of suspicious locations along the river, and also provided security from the ground.
A convoy of the military junta, which was providing security for the warships on land, was attacked by the revolutionary forces above Shwegu on July 27, killing several soldiers.

It is understood that the ships have not yet been able to proceed to Bhamo and are currently stationed in Shwegu.
