🟥8 weapons and ammunition were seized

The seven military junta members including Captain Aung Thaung were killed in an attack on military junta
troops collecting bribes from the civilians in Myingyan Township, and 8 weapons and ammunition were seized, an official from the Shwe Chan Thar Guerrilla Force told BBM.

The military junta troops stationed at the Kokeke High School branch were harassing and robbing the local people and tourists daily, so they opened fire with a pre-emptive claymore landmine at 9:15 a.m. on September 2.

The 7 military junta members were killed and (6) MA3s, 20 boxes of ammunition, (1) MA5, (1) 60mm ammunition, (904) rounds of 5.56 ammunition, (5) rounds of 9mm ammunition, (3) rounds of 60mm ammunition, (3) 60 mm mortars, 5 knives, 2 hand grenades, 2 catapults, 1 screwdriver, 1,492,000 kyats in cash, 7 phones, 2 watches, and many military equipment were seized.

“Among the 7 military junta members dead including a lieutenant general called Aung Thaung, and the attackers were from our group,”

an official from the Shwe Chan Thar Guerrilla Force told BBM. The Shwe Chan Thar Guerrilla Force, Circuit (1), announced that it would continue to fight and eliminate the military junta that is oppressing and torturing the people.

The Shwe Chan Thar Guerrilla Force in Myingyan Township urged the people to dig bunkers and be on high alert as the military junta is targeting the people with heavy weapons and airstrikes.
