🟥Revolutionary forces can even retake control of Tower Taing Kone, when they have launched an offensive to Phawt Taw junction where is important to prevent Mogok
MOD-led battalions and allied forces are beginning to deploy in Mogok and Momeik, where the TNLA has announced that it will withdraw, according to underground forces.
On October 29, the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) officially announced that it would withdraw from Mogok and Momeik townships due to the military junta’s violent bombings on the civilians.
Following the announcement, the People’s Defense Force (Mandalay), the Mogok Strategic Army, and the revolutionary forces which were born during the Spring Revolution and are currently serving in the Mogok frontline, have announced that they will defend Mogok township with all their might.
Currently, the TNLA will retreat from Mogok and Momeik. The revolutionary forces under the control of the Government of National Unity, Ministry of Defense (MOD), and other allied revolutionary forces from upper Myanmar have begun to take over Mogok and Momeik.
“Our Anyar Strategic Force, the Man Tri Force, and the Mogok District Strategic Force have been taking over Mogok since the past (2) days,” a military official from Anyar Strategic Force confirmed to BBM.
During Operation 1027, the TNLA forces, and the forces were born during Spring Revolution – the Mandalay PDF, Mogok Strategic Force, Anyar Strategic Force, Mogok People’s Defense Force, Tri Strategic Force, Myingyan Black Tiger, and many other revolutionary forces that emerged during the Spring Revolution, joined forces engaged together to capture Mogok.
Therefore, Anyar Strategic Force has informed that we don’t accept that
Mogok will be easily captured by the like Lashio, and that all allies will join forces to defend it.
“We all allies will mainly engage, Thabeikkyin, Mogok, all of them. We will also engage in a collaboration with Mandalay PDF, Tri (strategy), Man district, and then Black Tiger, Tri strategy, Mogok People’s Defence Force, Anyar strategic Force, to defend Mogok and Momeik where EROS (Ethnic Revolutionary Forces) have kept, so we will not give them like Lashio, which they captured them easily, if I may say like PDFs , the Burmese ethnic groups are resisting again,” a military official from Anya strategy told BBM.
In addition, MOD battalions and allied revolutionary forces have recently joined forces to retake the important areas around the Phawt Taw junction in Mogok, and have also regained control of Tower Taing Hill near the Phawt Taw junction, which was occupied by the military junta.
“There are two parts. The first part is that the MOD battalions will join forces and attack back the troops that were in Phatthaw. Phatthaw will be recaptured as far as the Tower Taing Hill. I must say that our side is stronger. The second part is that when Mogok and Momeik are retaken, everyone will see statements from these, we will engage and defend these towns in a collaboration with others revolutionary forces,” the military official from Anyar Strategic Force continued.
The military junta is launching offensives from Mandalay Region to threaten Mogok and Momeik militarily, and they are also advancing in a line from Kyaukme and Naung Cho, which they have recaptured.
The revolutionary forces are also recalling former comrades who have separated from the forces to defend Mogok and Momeik, and inviting new comrades and other revolutionary forces to join.
