A source told BBM that clashes with the revolutionary forces are ongoing in Pala township, Myeik district, Tanintharyi region, and that the military junta is burning down civilians’ houses and abducting 10 people.

In Pala township, Myeik district, Tanintharyi region, a source told BBM that on the night of September 28, the military junta stationed in Pala township in Palaw Township burned down houses in Myawk Inn village between Pala and Min Pyin villages, abducting 10 people, and burning down houses.

“The dogs are burning houses in Myawk Inn village between Pala and Min Pyin,”

the military source told BBM. The revolutionary forces previously controlled the area around Pala town, but now the revolutionary forces are in the last position due to the fighting.

“The dogs are in Pala. Before, our children ( revolutionary comrades) controlled there. Now, due to the situation, we have to retreat. We have to retreat to Min Pyin. The military junta set fire to a place called Myawk Inn between Min Pyin and Pala. They abducted about 10 local people there,”

the source told BBM. On September 24, the military junta also fired artillery from Battalion 285 in Pala Township, injuring a woman in her 60s.
